The Carbine Night Hawk range is the next generation of rim lock night latches that are up to 5 times stronger than your standard night latch. The Night Hawk Pro, Advance, and Secure have been subjected to various strength and manipulation tests such as impact force on the door, jemmying attacks and resistance of the tongue and bolt to static force; with the results showing the Carbine Night Hawk range to be up to 500% stronger than your standard night latch. The Night Hawk Pro and Advance offers hold back functionality to make entry and exit quick and easy. The hold back feature can be disabled to suit the desired user application with the Pro model allowing directional selection of the hold back function. Both models provide concealed fixing with no exposed fasteners (when the door is closed) - making for better aesthetics, a stainless-steel latch tongue which is easily reversible with a 2.5mm allen key, and extra mounting holes for added installation strength. In addition, the Night Hawk Pro offers a reinforced inward opening timber strike with extra long screws provides increased holding strength and can assist in repair of damaged frames. Metal door strikes are also available as an option for the Night Hawk Pro and Advance. The Night Hawk Secure dead bolt is an ideal upgrade choice for added security on residential and commercial properties. Coming in the same size as the Pro and Advance, the Night Hawk Secure has all the installation strength benefits of the Pro and Advance,but with the added locking strength of a dead bolt.
(A) SECURE SNIB
To increase security and additional privacy with the Night Hawk Pro, the snib can be pushed in, to deactivate the cylinder from being turned by the key. This is ideal for scenarios where external entry is not desired into a room or premises, but egress is always available such as a garage side door, granny flat, or back door. To ensure anti-lockout, the snib is automatically disabled if the door is closed while the snib is already pushed in. Furthermore,in the installation process the privacy snib can easily be permanently deactivated if privacy is not a requirement.
(B) ANTI CARDING
The Night Hawk Pro comes with a standard anti-carding latch function to maximise security and stop unauthorised access using thin metal or cards (C) DOOR STRIKE
In addition, for added mounting strength and security, extra mounting holes and a reinforced inward opening timber strike with extra-long screws provides increased holding strength and can assist in repair of damaged frames. Metal door strike is also available as an option and aesthetically matches the Night Hawk Pro.
